The Brown Bear unit It is based on the book Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin, Jr. This product is in both English and Spanish. The 80 page download is full of learning!The following is what is included by page number.

5-9:Brown Bear Flip Book- This book is a fun way to teach colors and animals. Simply copy the original, cut it out and staple it together. Your students will be learning how to identify the numbers, count and even read as they take these booklet home to share with their family. 

10-19:Find the missing number: Students find the missing middle numbers up to 21. It is helpful to add Velcro to keep the missing numbers in place.

20-21:Tracing worksheets Brown Bear theme related. 

22-23:Scissor Skills Worksheets. 

24:Pattern worksheet- Cut and paste activity using the animal pieces to complete each pattern. 

25-26:How many?- Count the objects. Cut and paste the correct number in each box. 

27:Brown Bear Puzzle-Print and cut puzzle pieces. Leave the numbers on so your students can practice numbering from 1-10 or cut them off and let them have fun figuring out the puzzle. 

28:Roll the dice- This mat can be laminated and played with manipulatives or they can be copied and the children can color in the numeral box of the quantity they rolled.

29-34:File Folder Game Brown Bear Puzzle-This game is a fun way to introduce, review and practice animals and colors with your kids.  

35-40:Brown Bear Memory Game.

41-42:Brown Bear Graphing-The children will roll the die (included) and record the results on the graph. This game is different every time you play! 

43-44:Brown Bear Clothespin Number Fun- This engaging activity is a great way to reinforce fine motor skills and number sense! To use this activity, simply print, cut out, and laminate cards. Provide students with clothespins. Have students count the pictures and clip the clothespin on the correct number. Contains 6 Brown Bear-themed number/picture cards.

45:Brown Bear Candy Sorting Mat- Print out as many mats as you need. Give students a box of candy to sort out. 

46-56:Brown Bear Pocket Chart word in Spanish and English: These can be used with a pocket chart activity or in a writing center.

57-80:Color Word Letter letter tiles in Spanish and English- Students will unscramble the letters to spell each color word. Can be used with magnetic letters, letter tiles or dry-erase markers.
