Who says we can't TEXT in class? ;-)
Based on the popular notion of TEXTING...this pack uses a "cell phone" to provide practice building CVC words.
The worksheets are made to look like an office phone message sheet. Each sheet has two " while-you-were-out-type-messages". Student use the phone to determine the letters needed to make a word. They write the word on the message sheet. If possible, the student draws a picture of the word. Or based on the students skill levels, they can write a short sentence in place of drawing.
There are blank message sheets for you to expand and make your own words.
Words in packet are:
fat, mat, sat, bat/cat, wag, rag, bag, nag, hip, pip,sip/tip, dip, net, let, wet, betcut/but, hut/gut. nut/put/ruthit, pit, zit, fitcap, nap/map, tap/sap, zapbad/cad, had, pad, dad/fadtop, hop, pop, mophot, pot/rot, tot, lot
