This printable hands-on long vowel activity is great for teaching and reinforcing the concept of the magic e. Students will read the short vowel word then add the magic e and read the long vowel word.
Print these on cardstock and laminate for durability and you will have a great activity for years to come.
Use this activity with your guided reading groups or as an independent center or station. There are about 10 words per vowel that can be changed from a short vowel word to a long vowel word just by adding the magic e (note that e only has 1 word Pete)
