Product Description

Use a parent and kinder-friendly book log to encourage and track at-home reading! These Common Core standards-based book logs are just that! A single sheet for each month that allows for up to 10 books to be recorded with questions or activities to foster discussion, or an activity to practice concepts of print on many of the books chosen. Questions are included for August-May (June/July are left blank).

Additional blank book logs are included to send home with families who wish to record more than 10 books! Also included for each month: a more basic version where students and families simply "read and record" the child's reaction to the book (with smiley face reactions). Parent letter included to help explain how to use these book logs and understand the value of communicating it to you, the teacher!
