This pack will grows your learners from just listening to a story, to discussing the structure of a book, to identifying/recalling details (setting, characters, events, problem/solution) and to applying all that they've learned in a unique kinder-writing project. I start planting these seeds in the early fall and now (early spring) I can't often read through a story for the first time without my kinders starting to dissect it's structure and pulling out the bits of the author's language that they love and want to use in their own writing.
