Short Path Game
This is the BLANK version so you could add family pictures, friends pictures or whatever you like to the spinner and game board as well as a picture for the ending goal (right hand side) of the game board.
Cut and laminate. Glue the spinner onto a thin piece of cardboard and attach to the center of the circle with a brad.
Spin the spinner and use magnetized pompoms or pennies as place markers on the correct color to move one spot from left to right.
This game focuses on one-to-one correspondence. I used it with my preschool class and added their pictures to the spinner and the game card. We played in 3D and with the game card. To play in 3D, each child had 6 colored circles of paper that matched the color on the spinner. We laid the circles on the floor in a path to the Christmas tree. I spun the spinner and the child it landed on got to hop one circle closer to the finish line. When we played with the game card we used magnetized pompoms and two kids could play together and take turns moving the pompoms according to who the spinner landed on.
