Summer Fun Tot Lesson Plans

Feel free to use all or any of these ideas according to your child’s needs and what you have on hand.

• Make ice-cream
• Shred zucchini and mix it in with BBQ Sauce for a BBQ Zucchini sandwich
• Make a cone out of paper and use a tennis ball to practice balancing the “ice cream” on top of the cone.
• Sort clothing according to what you wear in the summer when it’s hot, or the winter when it’s cold.
• Practice putting items in and out of containers.  Like rocks in buckets.
• Provide beach balls and/or a yoga ball for exploration.  Hold your child securely on top of the ball while you bounce him or her front, back and side to side.  Great for their muscle development and balance.
• Blow Bubbles!
