There are different ways to use the Conversions Matching Game. Give a set to each student or use as a group activity. Laminate to cut down the consumption of paper in your classroom. I included two different matching games. With the first one, have students match the unit of measurement with the abbreviation that is used to describe it. With the other set, have students match the conversions with each other. Each card has a match.
I put students into groups of 2 or 3 and have them work on it together. This activity should take about 10 – 15 minutes to complete. I use this as an introduction activity for conversions. It is a great warm-up activity to get students ready for conversions by reviewing most common forms of units.
