This fun activity is designed to help students recognize the numbers 1-6 AND the standard configuration dice dot patterns. Included in the set are both full color game boards and black/white game boards. This is a great small group or math center activity.
Print the boards and gather your dice! There are two options for play: print the color game boards on card stock and laminate for durability. For this version, students roll one die and put a bingo chip or cube on the number they rolled. Play continues until they have each number covered. If they roll a number they don't have, they roll again. The other option is to print the black/white game board for each student. For this version, when the students roll the die they will color the number the rolled. Play continues until they have colored all their numbers. Alternatively, this could be a partner or small group game. For this version, a player rolls and colors/covers the number on his/her game board and play passes to the next player. If a player rolls a number they don't have empty, they skip that turn and play continues to the next person. The first player to fill/cover his/her board is the winner.
