Use the multiple intelligences to help your students think scientifically about weather! This journal allows students to organize their thinking and their data in a scienctific way to help them draw conclusions about the weather. WIth daily activities that have them using their math smarts, word smarts, nature smarts, and science smarts, students record their observations, create graphs, and collect data for an hourly temperature investigation. This journal also includes suggested higher level thinking investigation questions that allow students to make predictions based on their schema about weather. As they learn more about how weather works, there is a place for students to adjust their thinking as their schema changes. This is a great tool to promote scientific inquiry in your classroom!
This weather journal is a great companion to the smartboard lesson Math & Science Routines!
