What does that mean?
In my classroom, I use a balanced literacy approach where I teach reading skills through my modeled thinking (or think alouds) as I read the text. The students try out the skill in another section of the book using either a Turn and Talk or Write/Pair/Share method.
I incorporated elements of interactive notebooks within the pack if you would like to have evidence of student learning.

outlining the actual standards, kid friendly standards (I can…), skills taught, common themes and issues, Tier 2 and 3 vocabulary words, think aloud text, turn and talk questions, write/pair/share question, and culminating project
