Cell phones and social networking sites are a common way for our students to communicate, but they also force students be concise and to the point. Use student interest in texting and twitter in order to get some quick formative assessment feedback through these two templates and to get your student to practice their French writing skills. In the activities students can either summarize what they learned in class, or tell their teacher about a concept they are confused about. Includes information for using the activity in the classroom, how to modify it as an internet activity, and the Common Core State Standards addressed.
As a former French and Spanish teacher, I sell many products created to use in middle school and high school World Language classes. I am now the Student Achievement Coach at my high school, so I work with all subject areas. I also collaborate with the PLCs at my school, so I sell many formative assessments to be used in all courses. One of my passions is teaching with technology, and I have incorporated many Web 2.0 tools into my products.
