I am the daughter and granddaughter of special education teachers. I grew up loving school and knowing I wanted to be a teacher. In high school, I started teaching at the local daycare center and I was hooked. I taught my way through college. Upon receiving my degree, I moved to Germany, where I taught at an International School for a total of 10 years. I have taught at public and private schools (Montessori and Quaker), in the U.S. and Germany, grades Pre-K through 5th. I have been the classroom teacher, assistant, head teacher, and long-term substitute. I have done classroom observations as a data collector using various scales. I have lots of experience and ideas, yet I love to try new things, modify and share with others. I'm hoping this site, along with my blog and my future planned website will be great platforms for all I have to offer!
