Enjoy these SUPER fun SUPER hero themed mystery bags. Use them as small group work, independent work, or as a fun "I'm done" activity.

There are seven different themes, 42 different bags, and endless ways to mix up the fun!

Included activities with their six mystery bags {and recording sheets} are:

Thor's Make-a-Word
-Students pull out letter cards and make as many words as possible. Teachers can place which letters the students are working on in the bag, such as long vowels, digraphs, etc.

Iron Man Inferencing
-Students take turns secretly looking at a picture in the bag. Their partner asks inferencing questions and try to predict what the picture is. Fill out the recording sheet and make a guess.

Super Sight Words with Superman
-Students pull out a card and read the sight word. Then, on their recording sheet, they write a sentence using the word.

Captain A Vowels
-Students can organize and sort words OR pictures into long or short vowel categories and record on sheet. Teachers can choose whether they are reading or using pictures, as well as how students sort, such as sorting short or long, short i and short e, etc.

Bat Addition
-Students pull a card and solve (sums to 24) and record.

Spider Subtraction
-Students pull a card and solve (subtracting from 12 and below) and record.

Hawkeye High or Low
-Students pull out two cards and compare with greater than >, less than < or equal to =. They use arrows on bows to point to the greater number and record!
