*ABC order- (worksheet where the students put some March words in ABC order).
*Sound Boxes- use shamrocks to record sounds in words, 4 letter sound boxes and silent e boxes are included.
*Pocket Sorts- students can sort short/long vowel sounds (one sort for each vowel
is included). These are not really March materials but my students are working
on these skills at this time in the year and they love the pockets.
*Rainbow/Pot of Gold Contraction- great for center time. Students match the
rainbow words with the pot of gold contraction. Game board and student worksheets
*Shamrock Frames and Arrows- students can practice counting by 2's, 5's, and 10's.
They need to figure out what the "RULE" is that is being used.
*March Madness- these worksheets can either be used individually or made into a
book. Use a basketball theme by practicing adding small numbers together in a story
problem format. See which team wins!
*Shamrock Math Facts: these flashcards can be used to practice basic facts or
used in a game such as war. Addition and subtraction are included.
*How Much is the March Word Worth?- students figure out how much each March
word is worth by using either nickels/pennies, dimes/nickels/pennies, or
quarters/dimes/nickels/pennies. Great for differentiation.
Please leave feedback. Thanks and have a great March!
