Print, laminate and cut out the doggy alphabet cards. Place them in a box or small tub of some sort. Have your kiddos sit in a circle. One child will draw a card. If the child can identify the sound the letter makes, the child gets to keep the card. If he/she cannot identify the sound, he/she places the card back in the tub. If a child draws a “woof!” card, the children go around the room acting like dogs. My little ones love this game because they get a kick out of “woofing” like a dog. It makes for a fun learning experience.
I wanted to post activities I create in hopes of helping other teachers!
