This worksheet is designed to be used after a fact and opinion lesson for an informal assessment.  Students read a short paragraph about trees.  Next, they use a red crayon or colored pencil to underline the facts in the story.  Then, they use a yellow crayon to undeline the opinions.  At the bottom as an extension, students need to give another fact about trees and another opinion.  This worksheet also has the lesson essential question included.
