This 15 slide PowerPoint presentation takes students through the steps for solving word problems. The steps in the PowerPoint presentation are based on Singapore Math strategies including using unit bars to solve problems. There is also a huge emphasis on addition and subtraction key words. 

It was created by Elizabeth Hill to use in her third grade classroom but could be used in any grade level 2-5. I used this PowerPoint presentation over a 3 day period, focusing on addition and subtraction on separate days.
