This graphing math pack is a must have!!! This unit runs for one week and includes everything you need to teach data management. My students love graphing and many children grasp the basic concept of graphing fairly quickly. The next step is to get your students to think deeper and analyse the data. This package will have your students graphing and answering questions using the data from the graph. You will be amazed by your students’ progress in just one week! I always teach this unit for 2-3 weeks so if you are interested in doing another week of graphing I really hope you will stop by NataliesNook and purchase my second graphing package.
I am not a fan of loose papers so I staple the tracking sheet and all the activity sheets together to create a booklet. On the front of the tracking sheet I record any observations I have made and I record the child`s success (or struggles). At the end of the week the booklet is sent home for parents. They really appreciate being kept up-to-date with their child`s progress and the booklet is a great review for the end of unit test. You can tear off or copy of the tracking sheet if you want to keep it for documentation or you can send it home. Whatever works best for you!
