Practice letter recognition with two sets of A to Z stick puppets (beginning letters) with two options for E and X. The first set consists of black and white line drawings that you can use for your students to color or paint (watercolor works well). Let students be creative.
Then each stick puppet has a dotted line (oval or circle shape) around it for your students to practice their cutting skills. After they cut out the stick puppet, tape or glue it to a craft stick, pencil, ruler, or even a sturdy drinking straw.
Next, you'll find the same set of A to Z stick puppets in color. Simply print these and cut them out. These work well for teachers to use and for classroom displays or pointers.
I have also included suggestions for using these alphabet stick puppets in your room in a way that lets your students have fun while learning to recognize letters. Check the preview to see all that is included. Thanks!!

Learning should be fun. I'm Robin Sellers of Sweet Tea Classroom and my shop is full of products that integrate fun across the curriculum. Be sure to check out my many glyphs and writing prompt craftivites. The kiddos love them! I have been a teacher for over 15 years, and I have taught many different grades and classes. I believe that learning should be fun. One of my favorite parts of teaching is being able to create meaningful classroom materials and resources for students. I also share my ideas and techniques with other teachers in my online continuing education courses for teachers.
