Ladybug Fun with a Ladybug Shape Glyph, writing Prompts and Graphic Organizers, Graphs, Lady Bug Labeling, Life Cycle of a Ladybug Activities and a Ladybug Craftivity.
Let your students review shapes as they answer questions about ladybug traits to create a ladybug glyph. Then add a leaf pattern for a great craftivity and choose one prompt from the two sets (two different size lines) of four small prompts to use with the leaves or there are other options. You'll find two full page prompts to use with the ladybugs. One prompt is useful if you're reading any books about ladybugs too. Three graphic organizers to help with the writing process follow the prompts.
Next, you'll find graph sheets that go along with each glyph question.
Parts of a Ladybug
This section has a poster to display the parts of a ladybug and a sheet for students to label the parts of a ladybug.
Life Cycle of a Ladybug
This section includes a poster with original artwork and a labeling activity for the life cycle of a ladybug. The final life cycle activity is craft template. Let your students cut out the parts of the life cycle, color them, and paste them. You can stop there, but your students can also cut out the circle and glue it to a plain paper plate for a great craftivity exercise.

Learning should be fun. I'm Robin Sellers of Sweet Tea Classroom and my shop is full of products that integrate fun across the curriculum. Be sure to check out my many glyphs and writing prompt craftivites. The kiddos love them! I have been a teacher for over 15 years, and I have taught many different grades and classes. I believe that learning should be fun. One of my favorite parts of teaching is being able to create meaningful classroom materials and resources for students. I also share my ideas and techniques with other teachers in my online continuing education courses for teachers.
