The site will be down tonight (5/18) for a major site starting at midnight EST.
We are adding a brand new search engine and a revised site navigation that will benefit everyone.
Thank you for your patience as we continue to improve the site!
Students will get to practice subtracting two numbers using candy corn as manipulatives. The candy corns are position upside down to remind students that the bigger number must go first. There is a blank side to allow student to write their own problems.
elton8605 posted on 2011-10-30 12:55:56 I had some leftover candy corn and I wasn't sure how to use it. Then, I happened upon this activity and boy was I excited! This will be perfect for continuing our introduction to subtraction. I love that there are multiple sheets included as well as a blank sheet for students to write their own problems (great for early finishers!). There is even a large template included for modeling or poster making. Brilliant! Can't wait to see more from this shop! :)
Thanks for stopping by and seeing what I have created!
I love teaching! I have been teaching for 5 inspiring years! As you can tell by the number of exclamation marks that I'm using, I'm very passionate about teaching.
I hope you find these products useful in your classroom. Most of everything I create is in black and white, please let me know if you would like something in color.
I'm always looking for feedback or ways to make my products better. I like to think I'm a life-long learner.
