Student will have fun practicing sight words with this Christmas game.
4 COAL cards
1 candy cane card
31 present cards with sight words on them
•Students try to collect as many presents as they can.
•Put all the cards in a Christmas gift bag.
•Students take turns pulling a card out of the bag.
•If they can read the word on the present they can keep the card.
•If students draw a Coal card they put all their presents back into the bag.
•Once a Coal is drawn do not put it back. (I would use 3 cards.)
•The winner is the student who has the most presents.
–Put the candy cane card in so that whoever picks it gets a candy cane.
–Add another coal card to make it hard/longer. (Print off as many as you like.)
PLEASE LEAVE FEEDBACK! THANK YOU!
Thanks for stopping by and seeing what I have created!
I love teaching! I have been teaching for 5 inspiring years! As you can tell by the number of exclamation marks that I'm using, I'm very passionate about teaching.
I hope you find these products useful in your classroom. Most of everything I create is in black and white, please let me know if you would like something in color.
I'm always looking for feedback or ways to make my products better. I like to think I'm a life-long learner.
Thanks for taking a look and happy teaching!
