Bingo

Objective:Students will identify colors and shapes.

Need:Bingo Boards (will need to color if you didn’t print them off in color, markers, calling cards

Pattern blocks

Objective: Students will create pictures or objects using pattern blocks.

Need: pattern blocks, option use pattern block worksheet

Options: If you don’t have pattern blocks, use stencils, or cardboard patterns of the shapes.

Adding Sides

Objective: Students will identify sides on a shape. Students will practice adding and creating number sentences.

Need: Shape cards, worksheet

Shape Sorting

Objective: Students will sort shapes based on size, shape, sides, color, or any other rule they chose.

Need:  Attributes shapes (shapes that come in different shapes, thickness, colors, ect.)

Options: If you don’t have attribute shapes you can cut them out of paper, or use anything else that they can sort into groups.

Geoboards

Objective: Students will create shapes.

Need: Geoboards, rubber bands, shape cards (You will need to make enough copies depending on how many students are at the center.)

Options: If you don’t have Geoboards then have student create and cut shapes out of paper.
