*Decomposing numbers is one of the new common core standards. I have created pages for 1-20 in two different ways.
--The first set has the number at the top( I have 2 and they place 2 counters on a lily pad) and the students have to break it apart at the bottom(2=_+_).
--The second set has lily pads at the top to place counters on and show the traditional addition sentence(_+_=3). The bottom has the new addition sentence (3=_+_) so the students can move the counters down to the bottom of the page to understand that both sentences still show 3 but you are decomposing at the bottom.
*There are 3 fluency pages for the students who need practice recognizing their numbers from 1-20.
*I have also included 7 boards for dice games and 7 boards for tic-tac-toe games for reinforcement. My students love anything that includes rolling the dice!
*There are lily pads from 1-20 with frogs in ten frames to use on a bulletin board as a visual aid or in a write the room activity.
