Thank you so much for your consideration of this 125-page supplemental resource pack. These gold rush activities are designed to improve the critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, research skills, and affective thinking of your students. This is a great resource for use in the regular classroom, and is also terrific for use with gifted and talented students. Activities highlight a number of Gold Rush events and include a student learning log, comprehension passages, enrichment extensions, writing activities, notetaking resources, classroom creative fun, etc. It also highlights America's first Gold Rush in Dahlonega, GA. I hope you enjoy these supplemental activities, and please visit me regularly at my blog as well--http://bryantsbraintrain.blogspot.com.
I use the enclosed learning log as the bulk of my unit, and then add in additional activities as time permits. Each learning log entry also includes an enrichment/extension option for added differentiation. My students love working through these activities and also are excited to take home their completed learning logs as a keepsake to share with family and friends. In this take-home learning log, I also include photos we have taken in class throughout our study, as well as other related student work samples. Thank you so much for your support and for this purchase! Teaching is a "priceless" gift, so I hope you find these resources to be a "valuable" classroom tool!

Hi! I am currently a teacher of gifted and talented students at a wonderful elementary school here in the Peach State! I absolutely love teaching, and I have found that my current position has pushed me to be more creative in differentiated curriculum development than ever before. I strive to offer meaningful enrichment resources to teachers for elementary students of all backgrounds and ages!
I also hold degrees in Early Childhood and Special Ed, as well as have both my reading and gifted endorsements. For these reasons, you will find a diverse mix of resources in my store.
Because we love to stay busy and use our gifts in service to others, my husband and I work in children's and family ministry at our local church, so resources for homeschool families, those in children's ministry, and young parents are available as well. Thanks so much for stopping by!
