I have a high ESL population in my school.  Due to this, many of my Hispanic students have trouble hearing and understanding the plural form of words.  I created this Thanksgiving themed activity to help them visualize the plural form.   

 

Contents:

Sets of fall themed picture cards showing picture and word (apples/apples).

Sorting Header Cards (one/more than one)

Recording Sheet

 

This activity can be used many different ways.  Whole group introduction in a pocket chart, for small group practice, in literacy stations or even for individual practice. Recording sheet will help track student understanding.
