Your students will have a great time practicing their short vowel sounds with this groovy word card sort!

Print the 20 word and 5 vowel cards on cardstock and laminate them so they last for years! These can be used at a center, station or pocket chart. I’ve included several blank cards in case a one is lost.

Students read the words, then sort the cards under the correct vowel. There is a recording sheet to use with the card sort and another printable worksheet with words for the students to read and color according to the vowel sound key.
