How to become a Presenter

We are always looking for new online presenters to create presentations that can be added to the upcoming events. Being a presenter is easy. You create your presentation from your own home on our tools, submit your finished presentation, and then you share in the proceeds from the Event's ticket sales.

If you are interested in becoming a presenter for one of the Teaching Tip Events, we will need the following information:

  • Your name
  • Your blog or website
  • Your bio
  • Suggested Presentation Title
  • Short paragraph about the topic of your presentation
  • A link to any of your presentations

Please email this information to us at Events@TeachersNotebook.com

All speakers receive monthly royalties based on net sales of presentations that sold minus payment processing fees and bandwidth costs.

Spring 2013 Teaching Tip Events - Call for Presenters

May: Cinco De Mayo, Mother's Day, Memorial Day Event

Event Details
Event Date: August 27, 2013
Presentation Topics: Teacher products tailored toward Cinco De Mayo, Mother's Day or Memorial Day
April 19 - Speaker selection will be announced
April 19-24 - Speakers will create their recording

Each of the three video events will have two grade levels for our ticket-purchasing attendees to choose from -- PreK to 2nd Grade and 3rd to 5th Grade. Each grade level’s video exhibit will be sold separately. We will select 4 or 5 speakers for each grade level. The video presentation events created by each grade level's speakers will be based on pre-determined topics tailored to the themes of Cinco De Mayo, Mothers Day or Memorial Day.

As a presenter, you can use your existing products or a brand new product as material for your video presentation. We require that these products be listed in your shop site for sale at a value of $4 or $5 - NOT free. That’s because they will be included for FREE with purchase of a ticket to the event. Free items are a big draw for the attendees and it is what will help to make the events more successful. So, please make sure your products that the attendees receive for free are of good quality and length. As a speaker you can also show a related priced item as a demo.

Each presenter will earn a share of ticket sales. While we cannot guarantee the number of tickets sold, we can look at past events and they were hits. Based on previous sales, our presenters have strong potential to earn several hundred dollars from ticket sales. The events will be marketed and promoted nationally to our members and soon-to-be-members bringing priceless exposure to presenting teachers from around the country.

We are here to help facilitate the best video presentation possible, including working with presenters on the phone and even providing some art support if needed (courtesy of our creative design director Ryan Ring).

If you have an interest in taking part in one or more of the topics for the May Teaching Tip video event please contact Debbie at debbie@teachersnotebook.com. In that email please include the event -- Cinco De Mayo, Mother's Day or Memorial Day -- and the topic or topics that you are most interested in and the products you will be demonstrating. If you are selected, you will be asked to submit a sample webcam video (using our online system), a short bio and profile picture.

This is a great opportunity for you to gain national exposure, generate revenue and build a very large following of teachers, homeschoolers and parents.
