Product Description

This is a fun way to practice rounding 3, 4 and 5 digit numbers.  It’s a great game for partners to play in a center! Students will practice rounding to the nearest 10, 100, or 1,000 depending on the card they choose for their turn.

Students choose a card and round the number as directed on the card.  If correct, they get to give a bone to one of their 10 dogs.  The winner is the first to place all 10 bones, but watch out for the neighbor’s dog – he might take one of your bones or bury one!  Students like the element of surprise when they draw a card that has the neighbor’s dog on it and lose a bone or turn!

Directions, answer key and all materials needed are included.  Just print, cut and play!

Included are 36 rounding cards, 4 lose a turn card, 4 lose a bone card, 20 bones (10 for each player) and a game-board.

Includes 16 pages + the credits page
