This product is a bundle of nine images.
A Cooperative Coloring Grid is a coloring activity in which students are distributed blank sections of a picture to color. Sections are then assembled into a large patchwork collaborative artwork. Multiple colors, materials, and techniques can be combined in a project that is adaptable to many age groups. This bundle contains the following images: eagle, tiger, shamrock, valentine, leopard, zebra, the statue of liberty, and two Christmas tree variations.
Also included in this bundle, Coopertaive Grid Drawing versions. These are the same except students are required to draw the tiles before coloring them.
Encourage your students to experiment with different materials and styles to create a unique and expressive patchwork design...or guide them a bit to produce a more unified design. A separate handout for each section with directions for execution and assembly. Images sizes range from three feet to five feet tall. One can also reduce the copy size to get a smaller end result.
Cross curricular with math. PDF format.
