Published four times a year, the reporter contains brief abstracts and the full decisions of the cases that come before the Massachusetts Appellate Tax Board. This court is separate from the Appeals Court or MA Appellate Division and concerned with hearing and deciding cases on appeal from any state or local taxing authority. The Appellate Tax Board handles appeals related to state taxes including sales and excise taxes, as well as appeals of local property taxes.
