Mi-Hye Ok (born on August 1937, in Geojedo the second largest island of South Korea) is an ordinary woman: a grandmother of three grand children, a mother of three grown-ups. When she was young as a college student majoring in English Literature, she wished to be a poet. But the destiny didn't allow her dream to come true and then has been interested in writing poetry for children for over 60 years. All her family members, except her first son who translated this English poetry to Korean, immigrated to USA 20 years ago. While coming and going over the Pacific Ocean, she always dreams a dream of a peaceful world for children with writing children's poetry.
