Mohini Theevu is a Tamil Social Novel written by Kalki in 1950. The Story is a periodic fiction narrated by the Protagonist Bhaskara Kavirayar who shares an unbelievable experience happened in his life to his friend, while returning to India from Burma in a ship during World War II. The ship sails away from India to escape from a Japanese Cruiser and reaches a mysterious and beautiful Island located away from the South-east of Sri Lanka. The Island is called "Mohini Theevu" which means "Fairy Island". What did he see? Whom did he meet? What unexpected story he came to know about them, follows the rest of the chapters.
