They had caused enough trouble in Saigon that there was a regular dragnet in force trying to locate them for questioning and recriminations, followed by swift incarceration. #4 The trip to Da Nang takes about ninety minutes, and the sound inside the bird limits the talking. I enjoy the time to think. As a group, Special Forces could exist as the mobile insane asylum for the army. There are examples of the envelope being pushed, such as Jerry Mad Dog Schreiber, who was individually quirky and efficient in the bush, but burned out.
