#1 Lowell George, the leader of Little Feat, was interviewed on the radio station WHCN in Hartford, Connecticut. He was promoting a local club gig, which in turn would promote his solo album. He spoke about the pressures of meeting his record company's demand for Little Feat product, and how he'd never been able to prepare himself for it.

#2 George died in his hotel room in Arlington, Virginia, across the Potomac River from Washington, DC. He was thirty-four. The initial cause of death was heart failure. But few believed it was that simple. After all, the guy was thirty-four.
