#3 The Zaandam was a cruise ship that catered to seniors. It was ten stories tall and the length of two football fields, and it was scheduled to be overhauled soon after this cruise ended in Port Everglades, Florida.

#4 The Zaandam sailed to Argentina, where Lance and Carl boarded. They were given a short questionnaire about recent cough or fever, and they felt like they were being encouraged to get on the ship. They were planning a special occasion: their fortieth anniversary.
