#1 The Communist solution to world problems is to use a Marxist law to predict the course of future human development. They believe that men are victims of material forces that surround them, and that they cannot choose the kind of society in which they will live.

#2 Marx and Engels believed that all historical developments are the result of Economic Determinism, which means that man's effort to survive. They believed that everything men do is simply the result of their desire to protect whatever mode of production they are currently using to secure the necessities of life.

#3 According to Marx and Engels, men cannot choose any one of several forms of society, but they can only choose the one that promotes the prevailing mode of production. The thing we call free will is simply an awareness of the impelling forces that move us to action.

#4 Marx and Engels believed that the mode of production and the means of distribution always produced two basic classes of people: those who owned the means of production and became exploiters, and those who owned nothing and were forced to sell or trade their physical labor to survive.
